Concert 2026

SAVE THE DATE - DECEMBER 6TH 2026

The Events Centre, Caloundra

We are so excited for our yearly concert, when NPDA holds its production. Our concerts have gained much acclaim as extremely innovative, professional and highly entertaining.

All students enrolled at NPDA are involved and are encouraged to participate, as this is what we all strive to do, is dance, and perform!

Each class has a dance in the concert and all students start preparing for the concert in Term 3, therefore, if you cannot be in our annual event for any reason, you must let us know before the commencement of Term 3 in writing via email.

Any students who do not wish to be in the concert can still attend classes, and while they will not be choreographed into the routine, they can certainly learn it and enjoy the choreography.

COSTUMES

We do try our best to keep the cost down as much as we can though we must remember as in any sport or art form the concerts such as this do come at a price.we do supply a custom-made costume for your dancer. We make sure the costumes are beautifully decorated and fit well and look professional. If we have made your costume and choreography has been completed and you decide not to participate in the concert after the 1st August, you will be charged in full for the costume.

REHEARSALS

Getting production of this size in 8 weeks calls for some extra help so to bring it all together so in Term 4 we start Saturday rehearsals for our Ballet Production. All other classes do the routines during the usual class time.

Finale

One of our favourite parts of concert is Finale it is a special moment where the whole school joins together on stage in celebration. Rehearsals for Finale begin in Term 4 and all students are invited to attend (it is not compulsory) there is additional cost per student for the rehearsals. This includes 4-5 weeks of rehearsals

The students have a great time and it’s such a fun way to finish the year!
